On the occasion of the exhibition 1.5 Degrees. Interweaving of Life, Cosmos, Technology, the Kunsthalle Mannheim invites the artist Viron Erol Vert to activate a residence sculpture titled QUADRAT_KREIS / ATOME SEELE SINNE developed for the Kunsthalle's sculpture square in collaboration with various groups and fellow citizens of Mannheim's urban society.
Inspired by Lucretius' epicurean doctrinal poem "De rerum natura" (On the Nature of Things), the sculpture will be played over three days with performances, music, readings, workshops to initiate a new place for encounters in and with the neighborhood and the population of the Kunsthalle.
