Trafficking in human beings for sexual exploitation using Ukraine as an example

On the basis of an exchange of experiences between actors and activists from Mannheim's partner cities (Bydgoszcz/Poland, Chisinau/Republic of Moldova, Chernivtsi/Ukraine), among others, the current situation of Ukrainian women and girls in their escape process will be considered and then it will be discussed which national and international structures can be created in order to protect Ukrainian women and girls more effectively from the dangers on their escape route, in particular from human traffickers and their networks. For this purpose, refugee women from Ukraine will be invited to report on their own experiences and observations.
Due to the difficult situation in the requested countries, not all speakers have been finalized yet. We will keep you up to date here.
