Madrid city council, together with the regional government and the Red Cross, has adequated a hotel for homeless people with mild coronavirus symptoms. The facilities’ capacity is 120 and will allow the health professionals to monitor their health. Rooms are equipped with tablets that will help patients reach out the support team when needed. This team will be composed by social workers, psychologist and doctors. The initiative is part of the Homeless Emergency Plan put in place by the city council to tackle the threats faced by the most vulnerable. Read more here (in Spanish)
